If you go to add remove programs does is still show any office programs on the list?

If you do a drive search does it return any office related folders or exe?

If you look in users/documents is there anything office related in that folder?

Your control panel may stop functioning due to registry issues.
There may or may not be hidden files within.

I dug this up to see if it helps you.

Microsoft Office is finnecky as all fuck. I've had to literally wipe and re install Windows thanks to all the bullshit involved in properly removing and reinstalling there crap.

I've since moved to pirated portable copies where applicable.

You can navigate through for any version of office on any recent version of Windows.

It'll also explain how to manually go through the registry but it can corrupt windows.

if its not working becasue of shit in the current directory give it a new one
