This kind of sums up Trump supporters I think. Everyone thinks that they are his peers. Mr. Dirtyman's post above talked about how super duper rich he'll be one day, as a point of pride. Trump supporters have this detachment from reality, including a belief in the feasibility of that wall. It's insane, the whole project isn't even doable, and once it's said and done, all you need is a goddamn ladder.
Anyway, a sad day that he's the nominee. The guy wants a national registry of all Muslims in the US, citizens or otherwise. He's on record advocating war crimes. He suggests killing and torturing the families of terrorists. Their children. He's running on that.
He can't win. His nomination hands the presidency to Clinton, which is also awful. Hope Bernie can pull off the Hail Mary. He's the only one left that's not corrupt, or a racist plutocrat.
Sanders could only win the presidency against Trump and even then a Sanders presidency gets literally nothing done. Republicans hate him and mainstream democrats want nothing to do with him. Sanders would bring about the downfall of America just as much as Trump.
