the 250 is extremely inferior in comparison to the newer models (200t or 300)

i believe the older 250's are also rear wheel drive

also i went with a 4 year lease so i did not finance it, but i will most likely end up buying it out at the end, or at least that is the plan barring any major issues

I'd hope that it is a great improvement. 6-7 years is a huge difference when it comes to cars, let alone luxury cars.

My advice though would be to not buy out the car at the end. Leasing is really only good if you don't plan on keeping the car. In most cases you'll be paying more than market value to buyout your lease return, and generally it's better to simply wipe your hands and either buy another car or lease something else. When I got a new daily last year I leased instead of buying because I knew I'd probably want a new car in 3-4 years and there really isn't any point in buying if I want to do that. Just like there really isn't a point in leasing if you want to keep your car past the lease. You save money on the lease payments but you'll just end up paying more at the end.

The only time I'd ever keep a lease after four years is if I had some serious damage that was going to cost me too much to pay off. Also, with a lease I hope you got some form of paint protection (for minor dents and scratches). I'm not sure how much Lexus charges for them but my girl got a GTI earlier this year (silver too) and in three months or so she's already had plenty of idiots ding her in the parking lot (multiple large scratches from people hitting it with doors). Without paint protection she's already looking at almost a grand in lease return fees (two doors have to be repainted). Now because of a $800 paint warranty that's all going to be fixed.

My two cents. If you want to keep it go ahead, but I'd say if you really like the car just get a new one in four years.

in most cases leasing is the more expensive option since you do pay the interest rate on the total cost of the car; however, in my case, i am leasing it tax free through business

and have a very low rate that i could have gotten to 0% if i wanted to put down a security deposit (which i decided against, as i can invest that money and make more than the rate reduction)

like i mentioned before, if you keep it in good condition and don't drive it too much and mileage is low, you can come out pretty ahead if you just buy it out, just like my parents did with their rx350

How does the wifi work in new vehicles? Like do you have to pay monthly or something ?? My truck just a lil too old to have it.

Yea it works through the onstar module, using 4G cellular for connection.

You get 3gb data with the on star subscription. I think it's normally $40/mo, But I told them I wouldn't pay more than 30/mo and they did 30.
