Disliked him ever since he made Modano finish with 1499 career games.

It's all about him. Maybe I am bias but it looks like he is not the guy to bring this team together.


He inherited great teams in Anaheim and Detroit. He is not the only coach that could have guided those stacked teams to victory.

Success with Canada could have come with other coaches as well. Another scenario with a team that came loaded with talent and a desire to win.


The players have to share the blame of course and shed the 'too soft' stigma associated with them but it is a coaches job to motivate and guide the team. Especially a young team like this one.
