All the Chicago bros, I am headed there in 1 week for 4 days. Need some suggestions of sightseeing/cool/fun stuff to visit. GF and I are basically open to anything.

Suggestions?

museums and such along the lakefront are cool. hell maybe even try going to a cubs game if theyre in town during your visit. avoid going to sox park, the area may be a bit sketchy for a tourist

places to eat:

giordanos/lou malnatis for pizza
gene and judes for hot dogs and such
au cheval, kumas corner, DMK burger bar for burgers
revolution brewery is good, same with lagunitas but thats in a sketchier neighborhood than you may want to be in as a tourist

if youre walking around places like wicker park or lincoln park simply walking the streets will give you a lot to do

Mmm portillos, those dogs and Italian beef sandwiches with sweet and spicy peppers and au jus

They should open one in st Louis, it would make a killing.

people from outside chicago love portillos for some reason, but i dont think its anything special. i didnt think to mention it above.

i bet there will be one out that way soon since they sold out.. they just built one in florida

The fuck??? Florida but not here eh

I think the Italian beef sandwiches are killer. The peppers make or break it though, without them it's just alright.

Definitely going to a Cubs game either tomorrow or Saturday.
I'm staying right downtown right next to the NFL draft which is pretty sweet. Can't get tickets though which is too bad haha.

Good suggestion on Gio's pizza. Had it last night at 1230 and it was delicious
Think we're going to hit up the science and industry museum tomorrow too

Visit the Shedd aquarium too. One of my favorite places in Chicago.
