i just watched the vcids on flyers site seems like they were practicing with vinny on girouxs wing
sounds like raffl might be stickin around for awhile seems like he had him on a line pretty steadily with the same guys
and after that last game... he should he looked great out there

I have been waiting for them to do this. Only thing is I would leave jake up there too but I guess him and lacavelier can only play RW.

This team still blows. We better play our best game after a week off against a shit team.

What does philly need to get it goin?

On paper from an outside fan perspective it looks fine.
You have all the major tools in a lineup to drive success imo.

I've seen nhl teams have screw around practices like tennis ball scrimmages. Maybe they just need some fun.
Full new coaching staff?
Management shakeup?
Big acquisition? One would think vinny would cover that need.
Need your leaders to start leading or are their slumps a product of the whole?

It's a combo of all those things. Lecavlier has been great so far when he has been in the lineup. I'm hoping he will really be able to help Giroux and in return help my fantasy team with points while losing faceoffs lol.

I think Giroux needs to elevate his game. When he is on it makes everyone so much better. Everyone hates on Hartnell but he has been the same player the past 5 seasons. The year he scored 35 was because Giroux was on a different level.

It would be a huge lift if Brayden Schenn could at least provide some secondary scoring, and if coots could get back to the level he was playing at against Malkin. Our goaltending has been good enough this year to win. Our defense is the same usual hit or miss...so really the big difference is we can't score. If we can get the powerplay going again it will help jump start the offense. And that all starts with Giroux. Also be nice if Kimmo got things going consdering I spent a high pick on him blah

giroux with lavi starts the season as an experiement... he always has weird line combos we got berube and they have bin better but him and hartsy just dont fuckin work anymore
voracek finally got put on girouxs rw and they were doing better since hartsy got hurt but then 6 day breka and apaprently our 2C is on his wing now ... it just doesnt make sense
they need to hire a coach that can put together these lines read-giroux-voracek schenn/hartsy-vinny-simmer and we would have offense but instead berube is set on read arguably one of our best goalscorers on the 3rd lnie used on the pk and as a defensive forward...
