An even better idea would to be cut Raymond completely. He's bad. Speed is useless if you don't have any other tangible asset to the sport.

The problem is the canucks are obligated to the arbitrators decisions. I do not think he is worth 2.2 million, considering his severe injury and continually dropping totals. I would have let him walk. He is a damaged goods, so I do not think his trade value would justify resigning him. There has to be a better deal out there for 2.2 (min Raymond will get) or somewhere in that area on a free agent that would costs us nothing.
