Yeah I dunno man. I think it might be a compatibility between the card and the game, because sometimes it won't crash but it'll kick me back to my desktop and say the driver failed. So I'm fairly confident it's a GPU issue.
I've tried the current driver and the last 2 drivers, happens with each one and in both D3 and Heroes of the Storm. Nothing else.
oh yeah that happns with nvidia
half the time i update i get shit wrong with my current games cuz they fixed it for a game my card cant even run so i try to not update it now
sometimes ican overload my browser with tabs and it crashes my gpu driver

screen goes black everything fucks up for a second and then windows is like " nvidia driver crashed but windows has recovered"
happens during games but not often i found changing it to all performance in the nvidia panel seemed to help lessen the crashing
maybe try that in the nvidia panal it has like graphics 50/50 split or performance i set it to performance
my graphics havnt gotten lesser and the cards crashed like twice since doing that vs the 20 timese it prob would have normally
or maybe even go to d3 properties and run them into old direct x and shit like that theres so many things that can cause it thats why computers suck when they dont work perfectly
are you using windows 10? could even be that i know ppl with 10 that have had decent amount of issues with games not working great on 10
