Keep an eye on NJD D Marek Zidlicky. Has been heavily scouted by #RedWings. Good veteran, shoots right.

Makes sense considering they are like the only contender left that hasn't added a D-man, and he's the last one left.

Wings rumor is that Toronto wants Brenden smith in a deal involving phaneuf.
I'm freaking down with that.
Smith has improved his game slightly but I don't care. Ship smith Weiss and some other stuff and let's do it.

Zidlicky is a shell of his former self. Maybe he'd be revitalized on a contender but he has a NTC that he's reportedly expressed no interest in waiving at this time. Maybe that's changed

People like to hate on Phaneuf, but if leafs retain some salary he will look really good on the wings..

Even if they don't retain salary it won't affect his play, just his contract sucks for the cap
