Boston sports fans are so spoiled

Grats on the cup this year. With the sweep of the Canes, the bruins will have plenty of rest, home ice in the SCF, and Rask is in God mode. Wont matter which banged up team comes out of the West.

Plenty of rest seems nice, but it could hurt us

Rask is rolling, we've been playing every other day (besides like 2 games) since game 1 of round 1. A week off going up against the team with momentum could be ugly, especially game 1.

I think the rest is good

They can watch the west games and get to know their opponent

Some of the guys could use a rest after the first 2 rounds as well

Worst case scenario, Bruins come out flat and drop game 1, by which the series probably comes back to boston 2-2 and bruins end it in 6. If you want to find a point of concern, the last time there was a sweep in the conf finals it was Bruins > Pens in 2013, when the cup ended up going to the hawks. Both remaining west teams are not on the caliber of the 2013 hawks.
