I think he'll be Gionta type bad by year 6. His body isn't going to hold up that long, but it allows us to part ways with him unlike if we gave him a bridge deal then an 8 year deal.

i disagree. def think he'll do well for more than 6 more years. the guy def wont make more than around there though. the guy brings it every night, every play. yes hes not the most talented scorer but he helps you win hockey games. just cause the guy is small doesnt mean he wont last. theres many small players who have had long and successful careers
