Despite Dubas caving in, they both won from this stalemate, Toronto still ended up saving a lot of money and Nylander gets his long term contract averaging 6.9milAVV instead of in the lower 6s.
If Dubas didn't cave, they woulda both lost.

Man the Nylander deal seems steep. The guy rides shotgun with Matthews for 2 seasons and can only net 20 goals per... for 7 mil. And he's terrible defensively. I hope he grows into that cap hit because he's costing us a quality D now
