The dumb thing about salary retention is that if you want to do it, it has to be every year. They should let you do some years You should also be able to take just the cap or just the actual dollars, right now you have to take both.

Mhm. Ducks aren't a cap team anyway and vatanen and lindholm will get at least 4m a year . Imo anything more than 5m for phanuef is not worth it and even that is pushing it
