Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Pronger gets traded at some point. For a team looking to meet the cap floor he is a perfect fit. Nearly a $5M cap hit but only $525k salary.

Either way, lower market teams aren't afraid to take salary right now. MacDonald probably stays, but Vinny could easily go. Salary goes down, while a change is obviously needed for him. He could help out a young team like Edmonton.

for us to trade pronger that means we would need to take in salary back like cbj took clarkson ...pass lol were tight enough as is

No it wouldn't. We could easily trade Pronger and a 5th for a 4th or something along those lines.
