i wonder if gorges and gionta would still have gone to buffalo if they knew what they know now.

toronto is at least more than .500. gorges could have helped them big time.

I believe gionta would still have since it's close to family and friends.

Doubt gorges would have gone to toronto though. Guy was loyal to the habs.

And it's not like Buffalo being in last place is a surprise to anyone... they knew what they were getting into.

Gionta wanted money, term and close to home. Gorges wanted to be with Gionta. I'm sure they would like to win a stanley cup too but you have to make choices in life and they made theirs.
