Not really sure which team you root for but the Blues with their lack of postseason success should be doing everything they can to win the division and play one of the wildcard teams.

I agree, but winning the division last year and getting spanked by the Wild wasn't a fun time either. I think Blues Hawks would just be a lot of fun to watch and I truly believe we could knock them down much better than the Wild.

The Wild are in a very LA Kings-like situation now where they've been playing playoff hockey for the last month or so and the Hawks have been on a slide for quite some time.


Obviously the Hawks are a fuckin dynasty and would probably prove me wrong and just dominate my team in the first round (who wouldn't), but I'm just saying how I feel.

I see where you're coming from.
But with a dynasty and an actual playoff team like the hawks. They are so familiar with playoff hockey and everything about it.. the mentality, the pressure, the nerves, the mindset, how to win etc. Everything. They are never a team to vote against. Especially this team this year (they still have their core guys).
A team like the blues or wild, they have little playoff experience and the nerves, the pressure, the mindset can all overwhelm them and make them under perform (like their last few years).

So although I see where you're coming from. Regular season hockey and who's hot or cold coming into the playoffs I honestly believe means very little. Playoff hockey is known for being a whole different game, because it is.

Agreed 100%.

Playoff hockey is 100% a different game than regular season hockey, and the Hawks still have the core that they won the cup with for the most part, but at least half of their team are youngins that haven't been to the playoffs, more less made it to the cup.

Honestly I think my want to see Blues/Hawks is an old score to be settled and honestly I think it'd be the best playoff series throughout the entire playoffs and it wouldn't even be close.

I just enjoy watching good hockey.

Lol, evidence so far this season doesn't make that a clear eventuality... we'll take care of business on Saturday though, enjoy the Hawks son!
