I doubt he'd be anything but a backup at best though. But he could be a decent AHL goalie. Still, I have no idea why the Lightning would accept that trade. Hamilton wins this one.

a few years ago we literraly shipped em Desjardins for next to nothing. Maybe its the return of the favor. idk. Back then we said the habs did the lightning a favor.

I didn't realize you could trade injured people. Desjardins has been injured the majority of the year.

The only thing Tokarski has done is give Pierre McGuire an orgasm.

I'm assuming Tampa did this because they have a goalie who needs to play in the AHL next season while the Habs need a goalie for a couple years in the AHL until whichever goalie we draft this year is ready for the AHL.

Also led them to a Calder cup as their starting goalie in the AHL.

Dustin Tokarski's numbers with Norfolk during their run to the Calder Cup last spring: 14 GP, 12-2, 1.46 GAA, .944 SP

Also he doesn't need waivers to be sent down next season so if he can't make the team as backup out of camp it's all good in the hood.
