It's a full, not a twin lol. Full is twice as big.
She bought the platform, it has storage in the base and we got a 5" box spring. Queen size for $350 total, included bedding and a topper.

we have out box spring on the ground and then the mattress on top, I hate having the bed off the ground, idk why but I always have, hat getting shit out from under it

Drawers make it really easy :lol:
And I doubt my mattress is much higher off the ground than yours and I still get storage. The short spring helps with that a lot
