I know they don't want to rush the kids but I get the feeling like Boeser and Goldobin are good enough to make the big team. Goldobin has already spent time in the AHL and Boeser might just NHL ready.
Virtanen might need another year in the AHL but it's not like he's a big producer lol.
I guess they can force the kids into the AHL even if they're good enough for the NHL. It'll be interesting to see how they approach it.
They're definitely both ready for the NHL imo, but if they don't make the team it's probably going to be because of the clusterfuck up front, and they're both waiver eligible. However, there should be 1 space available between the two, and i think Brock will get it because he has the shot that nucks need desperately, and his mindset of being a pro/maturity is already there like horvat. Gold on the other hand just wants to yolooo and enjoy his life w/ all dat dough at early age which i don't really blame him for lol. (brock be like, im going to prospect camp cuz i wanna be a leader, develop with other prospects, and i still got lots of learn etc.etc. while gold's like i want a new car doe)
I think Virtanen should stay in AHL for at least 2 more years or even longer. Maybe develop with Pettersson and Dahlen when they arrive to AHL later on. He's still young, and players like him develop late anyway.
