yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to stick around Russia, which would be a shame but understandable from his perspective.

This was pretty much like reliving 2011, so depressing.

Obviously better team but a few injuries that could not be overcome and the refs did the rest. zzzzz

Oh well, ready for a top prospect to be added to the pool and hopefully a big trade.

Canucks will be a bubble team this season. Why? Cos next year draft is deep af, and it's only a given the canucks won't get a top 10 pick. kappa

On srs note, I do feel that the owner gave been in the greenlight to do what he thinks is best for the team. Impressed with his draft and signings so far this year.

I'd rather keep the tank strong, and draft more depth for our team ... just happy we didn't do any major damage with the signings & also that Miller's finally gone (hated him)

Why did you hate miller?
well clearly the tanking doesn't work for the lolnucks, twice where we were nearly dead last ended up being 5th OA lol. While other teams that didn't tank like winnipeg got 2oa (laine), philly 2oa (patrick), etc.
benning has been drafting more depth for our team.. doesnt matter which spot you are in the draft as long as you got competent scouts.. i mean we had jensen, shinky, schroeder as our top prospects but those days seem to be over.

Mixed reviews on the signings:

- They aren't going to keep us from tanking, just from being a little less embarrassing, which is fine I guess
- Don't like the 3 years on Gagner's deal
- Should have gone after Franson and Yakupov too

I'm fine with the signings, Gagner on two years may have been better but it'll be a contract that can be traded in the third year.

I can't remember how videos work on this site, draft mic'd up tho.

/e got it B)

im fine with gagner with 3 yrs, we have the cap, he can be traded for picks if needed, helpful on pp etc. Sutter can play wing now, and do f/o when C is waived off.
Wouldnt have minded yakupov for cheap either but at the same time, i rather let the prospects we have play more.. ton of forwards jamming up the lineup already anyway

sedin - sedin - gold/gran
bae - bo - rodin/boeser/sutter
erikkson - gagner - gold/gran/boeser/sutter
boucher - gaunce/burmistrov - dorsett

chaput? megna? molino?

Edler- Tanev
Zotto - Gudbranson
Stetcher/Hutton - Wiercioch

wouldnt mind trying out zotto with tanev either. Zotto seems like a turnover machine too, so tanev gotta save him huehueuhe
