I think Phillips would be fine if he would play on the 3rd pairing + pk time. Right now he's being used as a top 4 D and he's not able to do that anymore. He's regulary been playing 22+ mins a night and it's simply too much.

Karlsson - Methot
Ceci - Cowen
Phillips - Wiercioch

Is what I'd like to see.

Lol @ no Gryba. Twax dat fail

He takes some penalties, but he's a monster at clearing the net

Not a fan of Gryba, but you can always play him with Phillips if needed. I don't like the idea of a Phillips-Gryba pairing, we would be stuck in our own zone 90% of the shift.

Karlsson - Cowen
Ceci - Methot
Gryba - Weircoch

Wait, who was our 6th D-man last night? Weircoch didn't play did he?

Wiercioch did play you noob, him and Ceci was our 3rd pairing. Also, I hate Cowen with Karlsson. He seems to think he as good as him but he handle the puck like a fucking grenade.

Karlsson's giveaways make Cowen look bad, I still prefer Cowen with Karlsson than with Ceci

Cowen probably makes more giveaway than Karlsson. Atleast 3 or 4 times a game Karlsson is wide open the other side for an easy breakout but instead Cowen decide to keep the puck and try to go through 3 or 4 players, or just randomly shoot the puck on the boards and give the puck to the other team.

Obviously Karlsson-Cowen is better than Ceci-Cowen, just like Karlsson-Methot is better than Ceci-Methot

Karlsson's giveaways are in the most retarded position on the ice though, he always cuts through the slot and loses it, or at the offensive blueline when he's the last man back

It's something you have to accept with Karlsson though.. You can't take his creativity away, he's the best defenseman in the game. And I think he's been making alot less mistakes lately. His first 20 games or so were awful though.

I accept it, I'm just saying playing with Karlsson is a huge job defensively and sometimes it reflects negatively on his partners
