He got enough for an out of shape rookie. And he would have got alot more time next year regardless of who our coach will be.

A full NHL summer would have done wonders for him.

That would've been true earlier in the season.
I can understand his frustration, and it seems like he was more homesick and the low ice time played a part of it.
He trained his ass off to get back into better shape, and got lucky with gudbranson's injury to play. He eventually became one of our solid defensemen throughout the season.
If you watched the games, you would agree he was literally one of our core D in our lolworthy D lineup.

His frustration seems to be more about the confusing msg willie gave to him, he would get 12min-20min. Seems like a lack of communication that wasn't addressed properly.
He didnt know why he only got 12minutes some nights, 16 other nights, when he proved he could play close to 20 minutes.
Also, with gudbranson back from injury, how will he know for sure he will get more ice time next year??
