and why would everybody think that if his play was so good ?
his 1st year in philly was a complete wash... the 2nd year he played good but the team had a bad offseason and didnt have the offense to win
but if it was the team why was bryz's 2nd year so much better? we basicly had the same d minus carle the year before...hell we even had pronger a few games in his 1st season
if anything the defense was even worse this year with all the injuries and schenn coming over form the leafs lookin like an ahler yet he played better... it musta bin the team tho

Because they considered his salary when looking at his performance.

His second year wasn't better O.o

maybe not statisticly but his play was far better then his 1st season in philly he was arguably the best player this season until giroux got voracek on his wing
like i said this year we didnt have the offense and our d was even worse with the bad offseason the trades and injuries
yet bryz looked like the goalie we were supposed to get vs the ahler we got the season before with the good team


we had a worse team yet he was better... yet your saying it was all the team lol

I don't get your argument at all. Bob went from doing terrible with the flyers to doing amazing with Columbus who looks worse on paper but yet you still don't think it has to do with the flyers defense or offense but rather the goalie?

no im arguing that bryz played like shit and it wasnt the teams fault 100%
and yes i do believe bob got better as goalie due to the change in development and it was skill making a lot of those "holy shit he saved that" saves not the defense
and whos to say mason doesnt turn around too? in his short stint he looked pretty fuckin solid its a matter of if he can keep it up right now

So he magically went from a fringe AHLer to a vezina winner in a single offseason.

i dont get why you would call him a fringe ahler?unless of course your base everything on stats
he was good and bad that season but most of it was due to his confidence being up and down from lavi mishandling him trying to get bryz in his groove
