Doesn't mean there isn't mob control. You have to be more controlling of which of the other mob you kill. Next?

Being a smartass answering questions is fun isn't it?
I'm actually asking seriously as I've only briefly played each series.

Isn't it easier to just last hit vs deny + last hit?
There's just more to do if you have to deny and last hit

Denying is a different dynamic. But it doesn't make one game better than the other, it only changes the strategy. Not being able to deny forces you to pressure the other player and basically force denies through pressure. There's still "denying" in league even though you aren't killing your own minions.
I'm being a smartass in my answer because people who are relatively well knowledged in both games already understand this.

Why would I ask these questions if I was well knowledged in both games already? Derp.

Hm. But adding more elements to the game adds more micro and skill, no? Because everything you can do in LoL you can do in Dota plus one other skill element?
Is there anything LoL has/offers that Dota doesn't?

Also, I wasn't stating which game is better than the other.
I was asking which ends up needing more skill in the end

Does this not mean you're not well knowledged in either? I'm confused. That was my impression.
Knowing when to kill your own people vs knowing when to stop the enemy from killing your own people doesn't seem very black and white "better" or "worse" to me. Seems like historical battles would be much different if this were easily discernible.

If you're (seriously) asking whether denying results in a higher skillset, I think no. It's a different skillset, not necessarily a better one. In watching film for both games, Dota players rarely venture past the front line unless it means an absolute kill, where LoL players will venture past just for psychological pressure.

Dota 2 laning is much more micro demanding than LoL's is. I find Dota 2, 5mandota to be just a mad clusterfuck, spells are so much more powerful than in League I always feel like there is little opportunity for outplay in teamfights outside of the micro demanding heroes

I think League is a lot more focused around mid-late game, the Dota2 snowball is way worse

Dota UI is fucking hideous too. Dota just feels outdated, still using WC3 mechanics that were only originally there because you couldn't change the wc3 engine. To each their own I suppose.
