They played about the same, then bob left and immediately won vezina. But yea, it's not the team.

Actually bryz played much better when he was on the team with bob at backup

flyers fans wanted bob to start becasue we knew bryz would suck .. it had nothing to do with the team bryz simply played like shit he didnt try
and yeah he won the vezina hes a young goalie whos still getting better bryz was supposed to be the goalie already at that point yet he got out shined by an undrafted rookie
e: shit go look in the khl even... bryz didnt even put up great stats there and iirc he was on a pretty stacked team with like malkin radulov n shit

I know homervision has a tendency to alter your memory but bryz played much better in 11-12. Bob played well in 10-11 and frankly the extra year dropped his value significantly. Plus bob has also spoken out on how bad philly is for goalies.

how is it homer vision if neither goalie is no longer a flyer?and both were at the time
and honestly that year both goalies sucked but bryz shoulda been the one to step up and make the big saves steal a game or 2 i wouldnt expect that from bob
never happend.. i bet if u were to go look at his wins like 80% of them flyers scored 4 or more
also some could argue bob had a sophmore slump happens to lots of goalies .. bryz had no excuse
