sens are having the same issues that they've had all season with defensive zone coverage, powerplay problems, breakout, and more... just not playing with any energy/emotion right now even in such a huge game.

it was great being part of that standing ovation for alfie though, really happy that we gave him the welcome he deserved

Everything just seems horribly out-of-whack right? I don't know if it's coaching? Or lack of effort? Don't know. Must have been awesome to be there! I didn't even get to watch the game, I listened to some of it while driving through a snowstorm

yeah... the team looks completely fucking different and honestly the game itself was garbage

still was amazing to be there and see alfie though, lyndon killed the anthem as always and alfie took a skate as third star and got another standing O

It's like all our players suddenly got worse in the off season.

Or they all overachieved for a bit, like the Canucks in their cup run year :<

I guess it's possible, but our players like Spezza, Karlsson, Cowen, didn't have much time to overachieve because they hardly played. It's our depth guys who are no longer providing the spark I guess :/
