Oh everything is fine. Just hectic planning a whole semester when I only had 5 days notice that I would be teaching this course lol. Once I have my syllabus set and learn how to do basic things like print stuff and post things on Blackboard, things will be less stressful. I was officially hired 5 days ago, so I received no employee orientation; I'm just winging it lol.

what you teaching? what ages?

College freshmen. Teaching Eng 101 (freshman comp) and Eng 102, which is like a "writing about literature" course (not my forte but whatever).

I've taught 101 before, so not a huge deal there. The real challenge right now is just placing all of my assigned readings into a sensible schedule, scanning and uploading assigned readings to Blackboard, and just generally figuring out how to use Blackboard lol. It'd also be nice if I knew how to print things, but with class being in about 12 hours, there's no time to learn.

Also my syllabus is still under construction. Idk how much I want to value certain projects. I have a way I want to do it, but the university's dumb rules make it difficult. I'll have to decide how I want to weight assignments... like now.

I'm glad it's this and not some sort of family issue or anything! Congrats man!
