go into advanced and mess around with the tester

/e also go to general, device properties (only says properties but will have your device to the left), and see if you need to update any drivers

Set everything back to normal.
If you had ONE song that was fucked up and you changed your speaker settings for it.. I don't know why you would do that.
Re-acquire the song from a different source and see if it's still fucked up.
Play it on youtube, spotify, etc, and see if it's broke there too.

Check your plugs that go into your sub too. They can come loose over time.

No, most songs are messed up. It's just that one song I can't hear the words. In other songs some of the tune is missing and it sounds really weird.

If it was just that one song I would live with it.

And it's messed up no matter what I use to listen to it.


I've checked all wires and stuff.

Your speakers are probably going if your headphones work fine. =(

Well I tried them in two different spots on my computer. Lime Green outlet in the front and back, don't know where else to try.

Unless you mean a different device. I guess I could try them on my laptop or something but I'm guessing it'll be the same result.


It feels like something that can be fixed Maybe if I can't fix it by fiddling around with those options I'll just try buying new wires like DX originally suggested.

Yeah, I meant the ports on your computer.

But plug it into your ipod/phone (the speakers obvs) and see if it still sucks

Awhile ago; think a year or two, I mentioned I have deer that make frequent excursions into my backyard and onto my deck. Usually happens late at night or in the morning but about 15 minutes ago I hear a scream and I look and the deer is standing right at the door leading out to the deck. Tried to take a picture but as soon as I ran out it jumped and left.

we get deer in my back yard all the time because we have apple trees and walnuts

they like to eat the apples that fall off the tree as well as the walnuts

They eat the flowers we have and I guess the grass tastes better because I've seen them eating that too. It's usually just the little ones that come into the backyard and onto the deck, the big buck with antlers stays away, though curiously he's the least scared of humans and will let you walk right up to him if you have food in your hand.
