Doubtful if its happening for both speakers at once, unless they both went bad at the same time in a massive coincidence.

How would I go about changing the wires? Most of them aren't "plugs" from both ends... one ends goes into the part, I would have to like, take it apart :(

How many speakers do you have? 2 or 3? I know I have pretty much the same setup but it's 2 speakers instead of 3. Is it both/all three speakers that cut out or is it only one/two of them

I'm not completely sure to be honest. It feels like one "level" of sound (whatever you wanna call it, I don't know how to explain it) doesn't come through. Well it does, but extremely quiet/muffled.

So like I said, some songs it feels like some of the sound is missing. That song I linked on the last page is the only one I noticed so far where I can't hear the actual singing. Some others the tune is messed up, and some seem fine.

2 speakers... these: http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/support/232

This has happened to me before. I've gotten only instrumentals from some songs with no singer. It's weird as fuck. I ended up screwing around with my sound settings on my comp and it fixed it. Took about 2 days worth of trial and error.

Control panel > Sounds > Manage device your using (the speakers you're using).

Try unplugging your speakers and plugging then back in. There should be a notification on the bottom right of your screen (if windows 7). Double click it and it should bring up some menus. Good luck.

but now I think the sounds that weren't coming out are louder than they're supposed to be lol -_- I don't know what the default balance is.

I don't even know what I changed to make it work

EDIT

NOW THAT SONG THAT WAS MESSED UP WORKS 100% FINE BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS FUCKED UP

EDIT 2:

Okay, I'm 99% sure these options are the ones to fiddle with:

But I don't know what to change to make it all sound right. I've tried to change some things but not all songs are sounding right. :(

Help

When I turn on that "Voice Cancellation" (Mutes vocals for full karaoke experience) option, the Beatles song works perfectly but every other song gets fucked up.

Now I just think my left speaker is messed up.

When I plug in my headphones, every song is perfect. When I turn down the left headphone, it lowers. When I turn down the right headphone, it lowers. So that seems to be good.

When I try to do the same with my speakers, my right speaker works properly but it seems like nothing is coming out of my left speaker (when I mute right side and put left to 100%, silence).

I'm fucking confused lol... there is sound coming out of my left speakers when both the L and R volumes are up.
