Schultz > larsson

I agree; Larsson is only 20 while Schultz is 23. Still has some maturing to do. Larsson is not our #1 tho (might be if he gets better & gains some mass)

oilers need to trade 1 of their #1's for #1 goalie and trade for a #1 dman if they want to be relevant

and in what way are devils relevant?

all their star players leave that franchise, kovalchuk thought the team was so bad he even voided his contract and left for another league

schneider isn't a proven starter

devils prospect pool is pathethic and you lack any top position players. larsson won't be a #1, he won't develop in NJ

for devils to be relevant, they need to get a new goaltender, a whole top pairing + a top line. elias might be decent now, but he won't last long enough to be relevant when the rest of the team is relevant

devils is stuck in a pathethic attempt of a rebuild mode where they refuse to go full rebuild but instead going to end up being a tweener for many years

and you call out habs, panthers and oilers fans for talking shit? panther haven't had any success, but i know the situation my team is in, you don't.

habs have been in the SCF more years than your team has been in new jersey, how does that feel?

oilers have won more cups, have a better team and have bred more talent than devils have

if he's a #1 he's a very very weak #1, he's a good back-up or a bad starter

Your right to an extent. I just wanna see an improved defense infront of him.
He puts up good numbers with shit defense last few years.
And gradually increasing numbers each year. Looks good to me

Srs?

Yea that's what wait for it meant. Rivals seems to think insulting other teams is the correct way to defend his. Oilers suck, therefore devils don't. As soon as you posted I knew flaming the oilers was coming.

yes, but he's not a #1 yet, but as of now he's not good enough and is a bad starter, he's still young

this

the "not yet" should, imo, be followed by "if ever"

He definitely has the potential and size to be a good starter. Not elite but like a niemi
