It's actually an extremely good hit if you look at the side angle. Could've been a headshot but EJ managed to connect with the far shoulder somehow. Massive dive though.

It looks like his forearm hit him in the face first. that said, the only thing I could see this being is 2 minutes for charging, since he leaped into the hit.

Lecavalier left the arena with a boot. Took a shot from Streit in the foot, but still finished the game. No word on the severity yet.

Vinny has been fantastic so far this year. It would hurt to see him out for any length of time. Especially with how this season is starting.
