His list is down to 8 teams or something and apparently his meeting with the Canucks went well (albeit his meetings probably went well with every team).

Vey's dad had an affair and, with that woman's help, attempted to kill Vey's mom.

This happened a couple years ago and he's had to deal with it since. Could be a big reason he hasn't panned out well after trending upwards in the AHL when he was Kings' property.
