I can't remember which is which. I think type 1 is insulin dependent and type 2 is diet dependent.

Diabetes mellitus type 1 (also known as type 1 diabetes, or T1DM; formerly insulin dependent diabetes or juvenile diabetes)

Diabetes mellitus type 2 (formerly noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) or adult-onset diabetes) is a metabolic disorder that is characterized by high blood glucose in the context of insulin resistance and relative insulin deficiency

Damien Brunner is a Devil, per Nick Barlotta. $3 million per year, 1-2 years. Waiting for confirmation from NJD but sounds like its done.

Barlotta also reports that the Devils are close to completing a deal with Mason Raymond. Could still change but sounds like it is near completion.

Devils are also "testing waters" on Dion Phaneuf, per Nick Barlotta. No pieces being talked about yet.

Simon Gagne was also looked at, but wanted more than what Devils were willing to offer, per Barlotta.

Not 100% confirmed tho

Sounds like Brunner & Raymond & Henrique are almost done signing @ NJ.. 15 forwards lol
Possibly Josefson, Ponikarovsky, Kostopolous too..
Plus Matteau is NHL ready.. makes 19 forwards

Barch is definitely getting sent to minors and possibly Loktionov/Tedenby/Olesz (At least 1 of those 3)

Won't resign Sullivan
We don't have to resign Josefson, Ponikarovsky, Kostopolous but I could see at least 1 resigned since they're so inexpensive

Congrats, shootout points alone are worth a $3m contract. I am a bit surprised at the dollar value though because wings supposedly offered him 2.5. He must have felt he could play a bigger role on NJD, which is probably fair.

Just talked to Damien Brunner's agent, Neil Sheehy. Wouldn't say which teams he's talked to. Says "nothing imminent" as far as signing.

Raycroft signed in Sweden, and Alexander Frolov signed a new deal in the KHL

I'd take Brunner. Would be the cherry on the cake for this off-season I guess

id say the most likely 3 teams that brunner would sign with would be, sens NJD or stay with detroit

sens and NJD are on the verge of rebuilding after losses of star players, and detroit is always in need of young talent they have good vetrans but they're always old

edit: if I was NJ i would be talking with vanek tbh

Vanek is gonna require a first to get if he even gets traded.. not sure NJ could offer value to get him, at least not without giving up a solid prospect. Personally I think they're ok without him, especially if they get brunner. This coming season will be rough for them in any case though, someone will have to step up.
