Enroth has potential too. If they trade Miller and Vanek for picks, they honestly have a really good shot at being a dominant team in a few years.

Mcnabb is another guy they have, could turn out like a getxlaf type player

Vanek is one of the most under appreciated players in the league. They need to ride him out

I hope they will. If he doesn't get traded and signs with a new team I will bet everything I have that he will sign with the Wild as a UFA next summer.

Yeah... didn't realize he's only 29. He would be good to hang on to as a role model.

Sabres have an amazing great prospect pool and tons of young players (Ennis, etc) but I feel like Regier is going to screw it up quite a bit. After reading what the Sabres have posted about his ideas for the offseason, it looks like a redo of the 07 offseason is going to happen. He doesn't like the market right now so he said he is more than likely going to hold onto Miller and Vanek unless he gets an amazing deal even though he has been talking to teams about both of them....



I've honestly never been a fan of him. I agree that he can score and what not but it just looks like he never tries 100%. He looked like he would be dying at times while skating or he wouldn't backcheck or really play defense when we needed him to BUT when he did, he was amazing. He definitely can be much much better if he put in 100%.
