feel bad that alfie is gone, especially in the way he went... i heard his press conference was garbage

also not sure how i feel about dealing all those young guys, but i remember being just as upset about dealing rundblad and we saw how that turned out

just concerned about ryan only having 2 years left on his contract, we may have just gave away all those guys for free if he doesn't produce and signs somewhere else

I am very happy to welcome Bobby Ryan to the club, but that was a STEEP price to get him here.

I'm so devastated that Alfie is gone, I wish him the best, he deserves a cup. If we cross paths in the playoffs though; I hope we do everything in our power to send him packing.

Also lol Clarke Macarthur, he fills a role and can put the puck in the net I guess

I heard. He really owned up to his decision, he admits it was a selfish decision, he said winning the cup is his dream and thinks Detroit is closer to winning.

He said that the Senators are a good young team and are getting closer to a cup (going in the right direction), but are a couple of years away and that he doesn't have the time to wait. He was talking about how he had not thought about leaving until recently, and that he understands there may be resentment and anger from fans, and he said fans should feel that way and he understand if we do. It wasn't really about the money anymore, winning the cup is his main priority

oh damn that doesn't sound bad at all, from what i'm hearing he didn't say much about his time in ottawa at all

He didn't talk much about his time with us as an organization, he kinda just explained his reasoning for leaving. When asked if he was worried about his legacy with us, he said he wasn't worried about it.

its to bad he didnt sign with the sens n go at the deadline and help the franchise by getting something in return instead of just walking n sens getting shafted
that and the fact the sens are a good team i dont see y he even really left in the first place...
