Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer tweeted on Wednesday that the signing of defenceman Nick Schultz to a two-year contract, "increases the likelihood of the Flyers dealing (Braydon) Coburn and/or (Niklas) Grossmann."

delzottos name seems to be floating around quite a bit too i wouldnt mind delz+grossman moved and keep coburn... him and morin looked damn good together in preseason coudl be a good pairing next season


i think hes waiting to see where we are in the standings before he pulls the trigger on anything but i feel if he waits to long theres going to be a couple of d moved and the market will decrease big time and value with it
i wanna make the playoffs but at the same time what needs to be done is d shipped out for picks/depth wingers/prospects if it causes us to not make the playoffs and start falling so be it ... it needsto be done for the future
if he just sits on what we got and doesnt trade were so screwed were prob going ot let delzotto walk for nothing prob move grossman for like a 3rd in the offseason timo retires our d is crap we got nothing for it

id like schenn to get dealt too tbh both of them idc at this point we got to many d and c on this team ffs
but within the next few years we likely have morin ghost hagg sanheim all come into the nhl and were likely stuck with macdonald so thats 5/6d .. we need space thats all there is to it lol
