I just went back and googled "2014-2015 NHL season predictions" and just lolled heartily at all the people who projected the Flames to finish 13th-14th in the West. How can anyone disagree that this season is a huge thumbs up

My favourite part is just all the really bitter canucks fans. All they have to say "lol still on ferland train, he's not even good" yet ignore the fact our 2nd youngest team whooped ass.

This season was fucking insane for the Flames. Such a bright future. I'm so excited.

Honestly I'm more worried about Edmonton than Vancouver in a few seasons. McDavid is just too good for them to be easy wins now.

Next year should be epic. The draft will be exciting as well. We draft ahead of the nucks even though we eliminated them. Treliving has hinted many times that all of our picks are in play, and I think there's a good chance they're traded to pick up D prospects who are 20-21ish years old. Thats our biggest hole, and so obvious that I'm sure they'll work to make some progress there this offseason.
