Probably pulled something while working through the cramp. Let it rest. If it still causes pain in like 2 days, then yeah, something might be wrong.

Wait a day to stretch it. You don't want to really do much with it at all right now. Minimize walking and sports if you can. Just like any injury, it needs time to heal.

And don't listen to this lol. Ignoring injuries is a terrible idea. I know. I am dealing with tearing and fraying in my meniscus and it sucks. Bad.

Yeah lol, I have no idea how to deal with injuries, I've never really had one and I've played Hockey and Baseball my whole life, + pickup football games during the fall-winter seasons. Never broke a bone or anything.

Lol, there is a good acronym for dealing with any small injuries and swellings.
RICE
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

Rest whatever you injured. It needs it.
Ice down any swellings.
Compression, wrap around the ice with an ace bandage, but not tight enough that you are cutting off circulation or anything.
Elevate the limb that is hurt.


Good old things that somehow became a cure-all in the army, but should only be used for small injuries.
