I like dej because he posted this on Hfboards :

Quote
I never said he was better, I said he had a bigger impact. RNH will most likely be the better player for his whole career than Pageau, but until RNH actually brings Oilers into playoffs, I think helping a team win one game in playoffs means more than having a stellar regular season.

It's my personal opinion and I value playoffs over regular seasons and being a lottery team.

However, a case can be made about RNH:s regular season performance too. I'm just a sucker for playoffs and I'm probably wrong in most eyes, but my personal opinion is that having a good series in the playoffs is more than having a good regular season - having a hot run in the playoffs doesn't make you a better player, but it can make you one that have achieved more. Seguin played very few games the year they won the cup and I think he achieved more than T.Hall except Seguin haven't been suspended (iirc).

e/ also twax have played against him before he made it to the nhl

Soooo according to some HfBoards posters on the Edmonton boards, Hemsky to Ottawa is a done deal and they're waiting for the final to be over to announce the trade. They seems to have legit sources in the Edmonton organisation too.

At this point the return from Ottawa is pure speculation, but Smith is someone who comes up alot and it would make sense for both team.

What you guys think about this ?

hfboards are just dumb, people keep on bringing up bullshit and making up stuff

there's a bunch of stuff that sounds like "its a done deal" when its both fanbases on hfboards agreeing to the same trade in trade section l0l

Most of the time it's just speculation though, right now 3 differents posters with 3 differents sources are saying the same thing.

Well it's well known that Ottawa are lacking top 6 players.

He would either slots on Spezza or Turris wing, so something like :

Michalek - Spezza - Hemsky
Greening - Turris - Alfie/Silf

or

Michalek - Spezza - Alfie/Silf
Greening - Turris - Hemsky

Hemsky is still a good player, he's probably a 60-70 points player if he can play ~80 games. That's the problem though, he's always injured :( Getting out of Edmonton would be a good thing for him though, apparently all the years of loosing have gotten to him and I think he could be a really good player for Ottawa. He's only 29 too.
