agreed. Realism isn't the same as giving up. If they can't get the monkey off their backs then what he said was fair. Giving up means not playing again, and he's certainly not going to sit on the bench all game. Alfie earned that C and there's no reason he shouldn't keep it because he answered a question honestly

People taking his interview as giving up, they are either misinterpreting or not not understanding the context. This team has fought hard all season, they aren't about to stop now.
