Wow, I was legit cheering for Columbus in the 3rd and shootout.

Wish we could have held on.

Outplayed hard in the 3rd though.

The result is what we deserved.

Bob ranked Juolevi 7th for the upcoming draft, Canucks currently hold the 7th last spot in the NHL.

The actual draft probably won't work out like that but he would be the perfect prospect for where we are. We have nothing substantial in our pool when it comes to D-men and he's the prototypical new-age D-man: smooth skater and smart with offensive upside.

Obviously the dream scenario would be Matthews or Laine but it's likely not realistic.

I hope Byfuglien being signed puts the price on Hamhuis up. Especially with I don't remember who it was said sellers are at an all time low this year.

We would need to sell soon though .. he's what, 33 almost now? Can't wait too much longer, and he'd need to go to a cup contending team for prospects

I think SJ is looking for a defense.

I'd imagine Tampa/Caps wouldn't mind a Hamhuis either.

Yeah but what would we even get in return from Tampa/Caps ... I'd be more inclined to trade to SJS, but trading within our conference would suck
