if the bruins first line figures it out, yea theyll be tough. the blues have done an excellent job against top lines all postseason though. at the same time, if either of the blues 2nd or 3rd lines get going, bruins are in trouble. add in the fact binnington has only been average these last few games, and i could argue either team isnt close to their best game yet.
Blues are taking care of Boston's top line for sure
Boston's top 5 forwards actually lol, including Krejci & DeBrusk
Idk, I just feel that if Boston's 1st and 2nd line just plays average they have this series wrapped. Because St. Louis DOMINATED last game, but your guys' scoring chances weren't top notch or anything, maybe a few. It was more like protecting the puck and playing great defense.
Meanwhile, STL's first line seems to be doing all of the scoring so far lol

That is what I am thinking. The Blues have been able to shut them down so far. However, the Bruins 1st line has been invisible every series games 1-3. After that, they flat out murder teams.
Idk but I don't agree. I thought that the Blues in game 2 played way beyond their peak. Meanwhile, I dont think it's possible for the Bruins to play any worse. Their 1st line was non existent. I feel like it was the most dominant the Blues can be, and yet somehow te Bruins still had many chances to win in regulation.
It reminded me of Game 1 between the Canes and Bruins. Carolina showed us their peak in the first 20-40 min of game 1. Flat out dominated the Bs. The Bruins were right there with them and still managed to win.
I think the Blues are in trouble if that was their peak play and just scrapped out a victory in Boston while the Bruins played one of their worst playoff games. Hope I am wrong
Yeah, I think they went pointless 4 of the 6 games against Columbus or something like that.
I'm not worried one bit about Boston's first line. Would like them to outplay our 2nd set PP for once though. I've been saying since the Toronto series that the 2nd set needs more PP time, they've been 5x better with a hell of a lot less time. Hell, put Krejci on the first set simply to bring the damn puck into the zone.
