Just getting into hockey cause Seattle has a team now hype

I want to buy a jersery... should i actually get a player jersey when i know nothing about the players (rather not do this)... or is there some sort of fan number hockey fans get? Or is getting a blank back jersey normal?

Always better to get a named jersey brew. Nothing wrong with blank but named jerseys are just sicker.

IMO go with a home (dark) jersey and get Grubauer (their goalie) or Gourde (their best player)

I just gave recommendations for which named ones are probably best unless there’s a particular player you like.

Just don’t be one of those guys who gets his own name/number printed on the jersey 😂 those are the worst.

haha i wouldnt get my own name, i would just do number 12 with "FAN" as the name, because of the 12th man with the Seahawks, so at least anyone in WA/Seattle area would understand it.

Yeah, named jerseys are always sicker IMO.

But you could always get a blank one, then get the name/number added later once you get to know the team.

For those who don’t follow the team but like the look of a specific jersey, or those who are just starting their fandom, I guess the safest names are always the goalie, the captain, and their leading scorer or best overall player.

The Kraken named all star veteran Giordano the captain so that’s also a decent jersey to choose.

I would still personally go with Grubauer or Gourde.
