Soft? Look at your fucking QQ thread LOL

Yeah you're soft.

If anything this thread just proves how hard of a football fan I am. I'll stick to what I think is right, and demand a better product from the NFL before I go back to watching the crap the put on tv.

Its called integrity, and unlike the NFL I don't charge a fee for mine.

I have a feeling if the Caps weren't so disappointing throughout my young life I would have grown up to appreciate hockey more. Also would have liked it more if Baltimore had a team instead of Washington.

I found games exciting when I bet on them though. More exciting than any kind of home-team affiliation.

I am finding this to be the case too. So much fast back and forth action. And after grasping the concept of offsides in hockey I've really started to appreciate the finess of it all.

I've also learned to look at the players heads not to try to follow the Puck.

So far I've learned alot about hockey.

#1 the best players are missing teeth.
#2 every team has at least one person named Carlson or Karlsson on it.
#3 I'll let you know.

I've also learned that 4v4 hockey is the most action packed version. Love overtimes.

And I've learned that no one seems to get mad at you if you get a penalty and give the other team a powerplay. However people do get mad if you can't score during your powerplay

well theres a few methods...

1. (the most respectable option) is pick a local team that is relevant to you, ie the closest team to the city live in, or were born in. If youve been in New Orleans your whole life, then just pick a team thats geographically close. (popular options have been suggested above)
2. (less respectable, but more respectable than the option 3) pick a team you think is cool, or that speaks to you. Maybe the team of a favorite player or you like the logo etc. (personal choice)
3. (least respectable) go full bandwagon and just pick on of the best teams (Shittsburgh, Tampon Bay, Toronto, Washington, Boston, are probably the most popular options right now)

It's 3v3 for overtime now, im sure thats what you meant, unless you were counting the goalie, which is not usually done.

Penalties happen, unless its a stupid penalty you wont be ripped, but yes, if you have a powerplay the pressure is most definitely on. Ideally you want to score on every power play. Obviously thats unrealistic for any sort of stretch, while fairly uncommon its definitely possible to do over the course of a single game.
