Leave it at that, the slam was completely unnecessary. He was already falling on his ass after the hit because he's got a stick between his legs.
exactly this. You can even see their goalie focusing on the puck about to make a save, that's how late the slam was
Seems like a lot of people are dense and do not know the difference, let's make it easier and say that matheson did the same exact clean hit, but instead of adding an unnessary slam, he pulls out a knife and stabs EP instead. Bet you ppl would still be dense enough to say that nothing is wrong, just unlucky play, cos it was a clean hit followed by whatever doesn't matter cos u know, clean hit
it also sucks that EP finally got KO'd though, after successfully dodging a lot of hits and shit throughout his 5 games. That florida game alone i think he had 5+ hits he easily made players be out of position or look foolish. Crazy how fast he can react to em, it's too bad he couldnt use his god sense to expect to be WWE'd
