October 15th Game Previews

October 25th

Anaheim @ Chicago
This marks the 1st of a 7 game road trip for Anaheim. They are currently 0-2 in away games. They have to take on the red hot Chicago, who have won 5 of their last 7 games. With Ryan gone, Anaheim is looking upon Krejci to fill the void.

Winning Advantage: Chicago

Tampa @ Buffalo
Buffalo looks to extend its winning streak to 8, as Miller makes his 8th consecutive start against Tampa Bay. With Roloson gone, and Thomas in, Tampa Bay is hoping to recover from they last game against Buffalo, that 1 goal in the last two minutes made all the difference and plunged Tampa Bay to its 5th straight loss.

Winning Advantage: Buffalo

Ottawa @ Carolina
Ottawa hopes to extend its winning streak to 2. They currently hold a 5-3-0 record. Can Carolina bounce back from its loss on Saturday against Winnipeg?

Winning Advantage: Ottawa

Detroit @ Columbus
Columbus is hoping to beat Detroit to snap its current 2 game losing streak. Detroit on the other hand is looking to continue its 2 game winning streak. This could go either way. It all depends how Huselius plays.

Winning Advantage: Columbus

Dallas @ Phoenix
Coming off a hard 3-0 loss to L.A, Dallas is hoping to bounce back. Phoenix is trying to snap this 2 game losing streak.[/color]

Winning Advantage: Dallas

Vancouver @ Edmonton
Losing its past 2 games at home, Edmonton is trying to make a comeback against Vancouver. They beat them two weeks ago 4-1 on home ice. Vancouver is looking for a 3 straight win after shutting out the red hot Nashville on Thursday, and beating Minnesota on Saturday.

Winning Advantage: Vancouver

New Jersey @ L.A
Currently at 0 wins on the road, New Jersey is trying to snap that skid with a win in L.A. On the other side of things, L.A is currently coming off a strong win against Dallas on Saturday night. They have a 2 game win streak, and are hoping to extend it to 3.

Winning Advantage: L.A

San Jose @ Nashville
Nashville is red hot with a 6-1 record. San Jose is trying to jump back and shake off the past two losses. On the other hand, Nashville's Rinne has only let in 7 goals in his past 7 games.

Winning Advantage: Nashville

Pittsburgh @ Islanders
Islanders are red hot. Nabokov has 6 wins in 6 starts. They are a perfect 6-0. Pittsburgh lost about 5 games when Fleury went out with an injury and Johnson took over. Islanders are looking to extend their streak to 7, trying to catch up to Buffalo's 8 win. Pittsburgh needs Crosby and Malkin to step up.

Winning Advantage: Islanders

All this news and stats, and color coordinating of postings,,, do you have to do that all by hand, or does your script do it for you?

Also,

i just fix up what ever the script fucks up. it goes thru me first before gettin posted :D

you can tell sometimes it fucks up the bold / colors.

in other words, uploads all the stuff, i just give it a quick glance before posting it on JSP.

for the news, I just make quick things up. The plugin also does it, but you have to tell it who to do news feed on. :p. Give me topics, and i'll get news done about em!

On the phone with us right now is Roloson from Boston Bruins.

Quote (Roloson)
Interviewer: So Roloson, How does it feel to play in Boston?
Roloson: Feels great! Fresh new start, and I'm back with Stamkos! Couldn't ask for more

Interviewer: You won your first 2 games, why would they bench you now for Rask? You won your last game 5 - 1 against Montreal.
Roloson: Well, He was a great backup goalie for Thomas. I feel privileged to have been starter. I'm really excited to see how Rask does starting against Montreal.

Interviewer: Back to back games against Montreal. Starting one, back up one. How does that shift feel?
Roloson: Like I said, I don't mind sitting every couple games. I'm getting old, I need my rest!

Interviewer: One last question. Did the trade come by surprise?
Roloson: Not really, I kind of expected it. Tampa Bay needed better goal tending then I provided. I'm more of a start 5, rest 1 type of goalie.

Interviewer: Thanks for the chat!
Roloson: No problem. Anytime!
