You won't see these guys on the big club for at least 3 years.

Tatar, nyquist, mursak emmerton have a chance for the club in a year or two. Sheahan, pulkinnen and jarnkrok are than two years out.

Wings have some decent defensive prospects as well, smith is. Fucking awesome he'll be playing on the wings next year. Almquist is really promising small puckmover, holland raves about his intelligence.Lashoff is a big tough stay at home defenseman who played well in the Ahl. Pyatt is doing decent in the ahl he has a shot to become a meech type roster
player,
Then we have my favorite sleeper prospect Ben Marshall who was a late round High school pick, if you haven't heard of him look him up now. Kid is dynamic and is a late bloomer, he went from unknown to minnesota player of the year and now a full roster spot on minnesota, wings brass are fucking genious

goaltending we have mccollum who struggled but has feat potential and mzarek who was by far the bes goalie in the CHL last year.

Wings have a bright future, I'm posting on my phone or i'd go more in depth but ben Marshall is the shit look his ass up.

60th overall in the 09' draft - Tomas Tatar

“He’s one of those guys the puck just follows. He’s got the offensive instincts, the head and the hands.” — Red Wings assistant general manager Jim Nill (June 2009) …

“He’s a little bit bigger than (Jiri) Hudler, but this guy can skate. If there’s one knock on Hudler, it’s that he doesn’t have that top speed. Tatar has good top speed. He has good offensive instincts, too. He can shoot the puck, he can make a play, he can beat a defenseman 1-on-1. He could be a top two line player in the future. He can be a real sniper.” — Red Wings director of European scouting Hakan Andersson (June 2009) …

“He’s relevant in every game. He has a big future ahead of him. He’s got really, really nice hands, really good vision and he’s hard on the puck in the corners. He plays the game hard, too, for a skilled guy. He’s not big but he’s strong on his skates.” — Griffins general manager Bob McNamara (March 2010) …

“He’s got a passion for the game and good offensive instincts. He thinks the game well. He’s the first guy in the corner getting the puck. He goes to the net.” — Nill (March 2011, The Hockey News).

Teemu Pulkkinen
Position: Left Wing
Shoots: Right
Vitals: 5'11'' / 183 lbs.
Birthdate: January 2, 1991
Hometown: Vantaa, Finland
Detroit's fourth choice (111st overall) in the 2010 draft

"He loves to have the puck, he loves being on the power play, and he shoots the puck all the time. He's like Jari Kurri. It's a nice thing to say, but it's true, and Jari Kurri wasn't the fastest skater either ... He's a goal-scorer, which is really hard to find these days, but he can also make plays. He has a good shot and he's so smart at finding openings." — Red Wings scout Ari Vuori (June 2010)

Ken Holland made probably his worst signing ever.

"The Detroit Red Wings on Thursday signed Ericsson to a three-year contract worth $3.25 million a season"
