If Caps beat Rangers in 5 or less and I win 1600fg, I'll be at 2500fg.

If Vancouver and Detroit meet in playoffs, going all in on detroit for sure

I vaguely remember the 81-82 run as I was quite young but that is when I fisrt got "into" hockey, yes. 93-94 where they missed winning the Cup by 1 goal is much fresher in my mind.

I'm by no means an expert on all 32 teams but I follow hockey in general and can get into conversations about many things that don't include the Canucks. Am I wrong sometimes? Ofcourse, I choose not to google my facts and try to go by memory as best as possible. I also have no problem admitting when I'm wrong.

your attitude is so homerish that it's ridicilous. i can admit that pantehrs aren't the most solid but i cheer for them because i like the team. for you you need to be the top 5 team every season to be a worthy team. now when tallon is doing the GM they'll get far and hopefully people shut up

the '82 run is probably the worst in history.

Edler/Hamhuis/Ehrhoff are better and it aint even CLOSE. TY for the LOLZ though.

Wings have scratched a guy that should of retired at the end of last year, big whoop.

Sedins won b2b scoring titles but keep telling me how much better every single Wing is better than every single Canuck, it's humorous.

Regular season.

Kronwal and Stuart are integral parts of STANLEY CUP TEAMS

Kronwall and Stuart are so underrated it's stupid. No use in arguing with a homer, even though Stuart and Kronwall have accomplished more in the playoffs then anyone on the Canucks D core...

Ya, riding a hot goalie on a Cinderella ride is completely unheard of, eh? Never been done before....

Think : Cam Ward

/e This is even worse because a hot goalie actually won them a Cup! OMG...disband the league!

Put Hamhuis Edler or Ehrhoff on your team 5 years ago and you'd be making the same fucking argument. Your problem is you continuously mix TEAM success with individualality. Doesnt make sense.

the goalie can carry it somewhat but never ever make a bad team win the cup.

if it wouldn't be any cinderella runs it wouldn't be any fun. then we got the point - which cinderella run is worst?'

Panthers in '96 beat pens which was the supposed dream final with jagr and lemieux vs roy. panthers shut it down

There's 32 teams on NHL11 if you count "Eastern Allstars" and "Western Allstars". That's what jay meant, goofs!

INDIVIDUALS ARE APART OF THE TEAM.

Each member of the Red Wings have a specific role to fill, that is tailored especially for their skill set.

Stuart isn't going to put up points, but show me a better shot blocker, hitter, penalty killer on the Canucks.
Kronwall isn't going to put up first pairing points, but he's leading the playoffs in blocked shots and is one of the best hitters in the league. Also he has to skills to match anyone on the canucks offensively as evidenced by his numbers that he put up on the second pairing.

This is off topic, I've more made this topic to show case great leadership in the playoffs from the like's of players like Shane Doan, Toews and Ovechkin. Not to challenge some uniformed Canucks homer.
