Here's another suggestion that I think we've established before -

To make a bet, you must already have the fg to bet with.

this should be automatic if a person doesnt have the fg, or no proof of the fg coming no way in hell they should be able to bet

Yet plenty of people still try to bet because they "have fg coming in from another bet" or "can get the fg from selling d2 items." IMO it wouldn't hurt to have it as a rule just to remove all doubt.

possibly could be clarified differently as rules, and as guidelines

Rule #10, should we incorporate not betting with forum gold that a mediator is holding?

Ex.
Ryan posts a thread saying 300v300 Penguins > Capitals saying that Tom is holding 1k of his from a bet he won last night (posted log)

or would that be unnecessary? because some people do consider that forum gold they do still own/have

You have to have the fg. In the unlikely event that something was to happen, like you sent to an active user and they welched, or a med is offline for days, this just saves your ass.
