Canucks working on bringing Tryamkin over ASAP.

His contract ends on April 30 but their season ends on Feb 18, however it looks like they'll probably make the playoffs as the last seed. If they lose in the 1st round he could be in Utica by the beginning of March.

It's a delicate balance; I want the prospects and the UFAs to play well, for obvious reasons, but if that happens it likely means the team is playing well which is not a good thing.

Hamhuis not back tonight, probably Saturday.

But we have a full roster right now so a 3rd player will follow Higgins and Prust down to Utica.

I'm going to guess that it's Cracknell now that Willie has Vey playing a 3rd line role. They'll also likely keep Weber as an 8th D-man / extra RHer.
